Zeke's Story
This is Zeke. He came to us along with Cheyenne. He was the baby separated from Cheyenne. We were told he was her baby, since they looked alot alike, it was the asumption,but he wasn't. Cheyenne had never had a baby. We are thinking they are siblings. Zeke was taken out and dumped, then separated from the only horse he knew. He was SO frightened he did the only thing, mother nature told him to do. That was to find more horses he could feel safe with. He tried several times to go through the barbed wire fence to be with 3 horses he found at a farm. So he literally cut himself all to peices, trying to become a part of that herd. This baby, at less then a year old was just tramatized. The farmer finally let Zeke in, for fear that he would destroy his fencing. We were called and told if we didn't come get this innocent little scared baby, he would be shot in the head. We headed out to Rescue him, as soon as we got the trailor hooked up. Zeke is safe now, and has been reunited with Cheyenne.
